International Service

International Service comprises those activities that members do to advance international understanding, goodwill, and peace by fostering acquaintance with people of other countries, their cultures, customs, accomplishments, aspirations and problems. In the Rotary Club of Birmingham, International Service involves learning about other countries, cultures and issues through programs and through our international service projects. At times, the Birmingham club hosts Rotarians from other countries and exchanges may take place through personal visits to meet with Rotarians and others in clubs and countries across the globe.
