impact/Annual Report

Thanks to the extraordinary generosity of Birmingham Rotarians and their families, the transformative impact of the RCB Foundation continues to grow. In recent years, signature club initiatives have included the Preschool Learning Initiative, Rotary Reads, the Jim Hughey, Jr. Scholarship for Birmingham City Schools graduates, and our centennial gift to the city, Rotary Trail.

On the global stage, the Foundation has expanded its reach through initiatives such as OPERATION WIPE OUT, a cervical cancer elimination effort that has grown from Sri Lanka to Alabama and beyond, as well as disaster relief funding for neighbors in need.

While the RCB Foundation provides critical financial support, our members contribute far more than funding. They actively serve our community through their time and leadership, supporting residents of local communal living facilities through the Holiday Boarding Home Project, providing ongoing maintenance of Rotary Trail, and participating in a wide variety of service initiatives each year.
