RCB Sponsors 5 Students to Attend RYLA

Asher Hearn and Jaylen Turner-Long attended the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards

During the June 4th meeting, Rotary Club of Birmingham (RCB) Past President Eric Jack recognized the high school students selected to attend the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA). The annual leadership development program is hosted annually by Rotary District 6860 at the U.S. Space and Rocket Center in Huntsville, Alabama.  

RCB sponsored five students to attend RYLA this year, including Mountain Brook High School students Price Kilgore and Walker Martin; Alabama Aerospace and Aviation High School students Ezra Spearman and Jaylen Turner-Long; and Alabama Connections Academy student Asher Hearn.  

Turner-Long thanked Rotarians for the opportunity and shared about his experience during the meeting.
