The RCB Foundation provided a copy of the book Playdate with Cody for each student to take home.
Those participating included Lydia Barnett & Audrey Jost, Rebecca Beers, Mary Boehm, Helen Combs, Jason Eppenger, Brantley Fry, Nancy Goedecke, Matthew Graham, Niki Harris, Jim Hughey, Cissy Jackson, Alesia Jones, Allen Kilgore, David Killion, Libby Lassiter, Toni Leeth, LeNá McDonald, Maggie McDonald, Debra Nelson, Jenny Nunnelley, Bruce Rogers & Kim Rogers, Dawn Sharff, Pia Sen & Sugata Sen, and Clark Watson.
RCB has actively supported the development, expansion and enhancement of Pre-K learning throughout the BCS system over the past two decades. The RCB Foundation has invested over $1 million to date through the club’s Preschool Learning Initiative, helping to furnish classrooms, train teachers, coach parents, build age-appropriate playgrounds, provide thousands of books, and support programs encouraging early childhood education for Birmingham children.
