This week, the Rotary Club of Birmingham welcomed Rotary District 6860 District Governor Butler Cain for an update and preview of plans for the year. Cain highlighted RCB’s strong legacy, noting its distinction as home to two past Rotary International Presidents and its respected reputation worldwide within the broader Rotary network. He encouraged members to attend upcoming events, including the joint North and South Alabama District Conference in Auburn in May 2026 and the Rotary Foundation Dinner honoring Mark and Gay Maloney on November 4, 2025, in Decatur. The Governor closed with a personal invitation for members to share their own Rotary stories for a district-wide “Rotary Voices” project.
