Rotary Teams Up with Rotaract, Kiwanis and Community Foundation to Facilitate Mock Interviews with Birmingham Promise Students
Rotary, Kiwanis, Rotaract and Community Foundation volunteers facilitated mock interviews with Birmingham Promise students
This week, members of the Rotary Club of Birmingham (RCB) teamed up with volunteers from the Kiwanis Club of Birmingham, Rotaract Club of Birmingham and Community Foundation of Greater Birmingham to facilitate mock interviews for Birmingham City Schools students in partnership with Birmingham Promise. Held at The Harbert Center on Wednesday, October 21, the initiative helped students practice interview skills and prepare for future academic and professional opportunities.
Volunteers guided students through practice interviews and provided constructive feedback. Students enjoyed the opportunity to practice etiquette and conversation skills with meeting attendees during the lunch program featuring Results for America Senior VP & Chief Program Officer Christian Motley, Birmingham Mayor Randall Woodfin, and Small Magic Executive Director Ruth Ann Moss discussing “Do What Works: What Birmingham Got Right, and What Comes Next.”
