Rotary Celebrates Harbert Center and Southern Food Service Staff

On May 22nd, the Rotary Club of Birmingham (RCB) celebrated the staff of The Harbert Center (THC) and Southern Food Serice (SFS) with a special appreciation lunch in the private dining room at Yo Mama's Restaurant’s new location in Downtown Birmingham. Guests received thank you notes, gifts and treats in appreciation for their service to RCB and its members each week. RCB members also applauded the THC and SFS teams with a standing ovation during the club’s weekly meeting on May 21st.

Thanks to RCB Secretary Camille Spratling and President Bruce Rogers for ensuring the continuation of this special tradition. We are grateful to Yo Mama’s for extending gracious hospitality and serving delicious food. 

“It was lovely to see so many kind individuals who help us each Wednesday get a moment to relax and enjoy themselves,” said Camille. “Smiles and laughter filled the room as President Bruce cracked jokes and celebrated each employee individually. Everyone was thrilled with their gifts, and it was clear they felt appreciated.”
